Jimmy Butler this season has been nothing short of the Bulls MVP so far. This past Monday Butler played MVP for some students who were apart of the After School Matters program. Butler spent some time with the kids and later took them out to the Nike Chicago store on Michigan Ave. The students were later hit with the incredible news of Jimmy Butler giving each of them a $500 shopping spree. For anyone who knows Butler’s history, they know he overcame many obstacles and loves to give back whenever he can. I always love seeing Chicago athletes be very active in the communities. Chicago right now needs as many positive role models as possible, so to see Butler do something like this is incredible. Keep getting buckets on and off the court Jimmy.
